When it comes to pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D, university fees at public institutions vary between 22 and 36 Euros per credit.
Majority of colleges and universities in Spain have application fees for admissions into their programs and although these fees vary, they usually remain less than US$50.
Apart from the tuition fee, a large portion of the expenditure made by students in Spain is in accommodation, clothing, books and related supplies and food and travel.
In terms of accommodation, students can choose student residences (similar to hostels), rent an apartment or stay at homestays. While the cheapest option is student residences, renting an apartment is the second-best alternative. But renting an apartment at costlier cities can actually lead to more expenses as rent. So, while usually renting an apartment can cost a student between 450 and 700 EUR/month, renting an apartment in cities like Madrid or Barcelona can cost you almost double.
Eating out in Spain is, however, cheap and highly affordable for students. Along with it healthcare and transportation are Spain are also more than affordable and does not burn a hole in the pockets.

Which examinations/tests are required to apply and study in Spain?
To study in the Universities and colleges of Spain, international students are required to crack English proficiency tests like the International English Language Testing System, also known as, IELTS, Pearson Test of English, also called PTE or Test of English as a Foreign Language, popularly known as TOEFL. While each University has particular score band requirement for each of these tests, these tests are nothing to be afraid of. Almost each of these tests is concerned with the English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills of the students.
