Which examinations/tests are required to apply and study in the USA?

To study in USA Universities, like most of the English-speaking countries, international students are required to crack English proficiency tests like International English Language Testing System, also known as, IELTS, Pearson Test of English, also called PTE or Test of English as a Foreign Language, popularly known as TOEFL.
