The Newcastle University is delighted to announce the Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarships (VCGS) for the academic year 2024/2025.

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship is open to candidates applying for any eligible Master’s degree program at Newcastle University’s Newcastle city centre campus.

 

  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must be assessed as international for fee purposes, hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree program, and have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second-class UK honors degree or above. Central America – Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama, South America – Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela

How to Apply for Newcastle University Scholarship

Interested applicants must submit their applications through the apply to Newcastle Portal under the ‘scholarship applications’ section. Other forms of application will not be accepted.

The Grenoble INP Foundation offers scholarships for excellent international Master’s degree students. It is important that you apply for the master of your choice by February 28. This scholarship can be up to 5000 Euros per semester, for a maximum duration of 2 semesters.

Requirements for Scholarship:

Candidates must be older than 28 years age.

Eligible Nationality for Scholarship:

All Nationalities

Educational Eligibility for Scholarship: 

For Masters Level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree. However, direct admission to year 2 masters program is possible for suitably qualified students.

For Post-masters Level: Must have completed a minimum of 5 years at university level.

Selection process for Scholarship:

Excellent candidates will be selected according to transcripts, reference letters and scientific project. As the number of grants is limited, applicants will be selected by the Grenoble Institute of Technology Foundation Admission Committee.

Language skills:

Programs are taught in English: Non native English speakers have to provide an official certification (TOEFL, TOEIC, teacher…). Speaking French is not required, however we strongly recommend that you take a beginners’ class in French before coming to France so that your everyday life in France is made easier.
